Let's Get Acquainted
My name is Sara. I am a Taiwanese expat currently living in Hungary.
I was born in a blue-columned family where there was little reading material. Nevertheless, my brothers and I managed to borrow books either from relatives or from the library to indulge in the world of fiction. This childhood reading pleasure is still my faithful companion in adulthood, before I fall asleep in Taipei or Budapest, during my transit hours in Frankfurt or Vienna, or simply when I am sitting on the subway.
This blog was created during the Covid 19 pandemic. For a long time, most people were very much confined to our won home and workplaces. I wish we could reconnect with the community through shared reading interests.
